After a long hiatus Windsor Airport is having an Air Show! We are extremely excited to present some important heritage aircraft to help celebrate the Canadian Centennial of Flight. The F-86 Sabre, a full body specially painted CF-18 and Tutor will be here. The Skyhawks will be dropping in on us with some special jumps planned. Our full line up is an exceptional show of aviators and just as significant, the boys at CH2A Historical Aircraft Association will be giving tours of the FM 212 Lancaster Bomber and the T-33 they have beside it on the ramp.

Canada's Precision Aerobatic Team. As ambassadors for the Canadian Forces and Canada, the Snowbirds not only strive for aerial perfection, but they also ensure that they preserve the team's legacy of excellence in military deportment. We are honored and thrilled to host The Snowbirds in Windsor for the Centennial of Flight Year. They are well known, admired and in demand year after year. Make it a weekend to come out and see Canada's favorites. Our civilian line up will be non-stop high energy world class aerobatics and we believe our spectators will not be disappointed. We will also be having ground shows and interactive displays for the whole family.
We will be having a Gala dinner on Friday August 28, 2009 at the CH2A hangar at the Windsor Airport. There are limited tickets available. You will be able to speak up close and personal to these fine aviators who will be performing in the show and as well as the pilots who came here to display their flying machines as a static display. Bring a camera as you will be able to be up close and personal with the Snowbirds, Red Bull Pilots, Skyhawks parachutists, and many, many more.Tickets are on sale now and they will sell out quickly. Email Ticket Sales or call to reserve these tickets as it will be an exceptional night to rub shoulders with some of the best pilots in the world, including our own.
Tickets will be $75 each and proceeds will go to help restore the Lancaster Bomber.
